Walking through the big themes of every book of the Bible, week-by-week

The time-tested, best way to grow in your faith and knowledge of God has always been 3 things - Bible, Prayer & Community. All are invited to join us each Wednesday night for a deep-dive into the themes of every book of the Bible.

How do I get the Zoom link?

What is the Bible Study like?

  • The first 10 minutes are open times of sharing from each other’s lives, and noting how we’ve seen God at work in our lives in the past week.

  • Then for the next 50 minutes we take a “deep dive” into the big picture theme of whatever book of the Bible we’re studying. We don’t go verse-by-verse, but instead look at the big themes (redemption, hope, idolatry, the grace of God, etc.).

  • The last 10 minutes are spent in prayer for each other, for our church and world, and for the themes we discussed to go deep into our heart.

  • It’s helpful to read through the book in advance that we’ll be talking about each Wednesday. It’s a conversational type of Bible study, so we give turns for each person to share what they learned in their personal reading.

Resources we use

We use the “CASKET-EMPTY” Bible timelines to help us place where we are in the Big Story of Redemption. Reach out to Pastor Steven and he can get you a timeline to keep.

We use the Bible Project videos and graphics to help us understand big themes and get an idea of what each book of the Bible is all about.
