Weekly Sunday Worship @ 10:30am

We would love for you to come to our weekly worship gathering in the heart of Salem (292 Lafayette Street).

Park on the street (or in our small parking lot) and then enter through the blue doors facing Lafayette Street.

What is your Sunday gathering like?

While our weekly Sunday gathering is certainly open for anyone —those curious about church, exploring spirituality, just visiting Salem, etc. — the service is designed with those who live locally and who are already believers in Jesus particularly in mind. Therefore, it is a one-hour time rich in worship - through singing, generosity, prayer, & Bible teaching.

Our worship service usually follows the following order:

  • Worship through singing (mix of hymns & modern)

  • Community Announcements (ways to serve in the city & ways to grow in faith)

  • Invitation to generosity

  • Children’s moment (*children then have a separate space for age-appropriate teaching & play)

  • Prayer

  • Public Reading of Scripture

  • Sermon (20-30 minutes)

  • Serving of the Lord’s Supper (1x/month)

  • Final song

  • Closing blessing

There is always a time of coffee and community after the service in Fellowship Hall next to the sanctuary. This is a great way to meet people and get to know our church better.

What if I have a physical disability or need a special accommodation?

For those in wheelchairs or walkers, we have a ramp on the left side of the building (just off our parking lot) that eliminates the need to navigate up or down any stairs.

If you are speech or hearing impaired, please reach out to us in advance and we can do our best to make accommodations for you. We do have audio headsets available on site for those with hearing difficulties.

Do you livestream your church service?

Currently, we record every Sunday worship service but it is not live. Our Sunday service recording is posted on YouTube at 12pm noon each Sunday. Just click the red YouTube button to access each week’s worship service.
